A Holiday Tour of Five Festive Homes

Have you finished you holiday decorating? Maybe you’re hosting a holiday party and you have one last space that needs some holiday cheer. Or, you’re hosting out-of-town family and friends and need some inspiration to create a warm and festive welcome for your guests. Or, maybe, like me, you just love to look at beautiful homes decorated for Christmas! If so, you need a holiday tour of festive homes!

You’re in luck, because today I’m joining four sweet friends for a holiday tour of our festive homes. From soothing neutrals to vibrant color, from cozy and warm to elegant and inviting, we’ve got you covered.

I’ll kick off the tour with an evening view of my kitchen decorated for Christmas. The kitchen got an update this year, and I was so excited to add holiday decor! The color green features prominently in my house, so I used it as a jumping off point for my holiday decor, adding gold, silver and white to create a festive vibe. You can see more of my holiday home, here.

A Storybook Winter Wonderland

Crystal, of Sweet Valley Acres, shares her love of being home for the holidays, and I can see why! Her coastal home is in a Hallmark movie-like setting. She has soaring views of the snowy lake just outside of her windows. Inside, the rooms are warm and cozy boasting traditional reds and greens. I love her green and white tree! If you’re dreaming of a white Christmas, Crystal’s home is a must see.

Missy, of Sonata Home Design, is not color shy! She has expertly added vibrant color to every inch of her traditional style home. And her holiday decor is no exception. The colorful wreath that she created for over her fireplace is stunning. And her upside-down tree gives new meaning to the term “trad with a twist.” Missy says she believes in “artful living at home.” Visit Missy to see the artful holiday designs she has created on her home canvas.

French Country Charm

Kristy, of At Home With Kristy, has a home that exudes French Country charm. Her Christmas decor follows this theme with a coastal vibe. She uses the prettiest pastel colors in her holiday decorating. Every room is magazine worthy, and her dining room was recently featured in one! I love the soft golds and greens in her tablescape. She also shares a glimpse of her beautiful holiday wrapping. Visit Kristy, to experience some French country charm.

Sooo Warm and Cozy

Regina, of Saved from Salvage, lives in a lakeside home nestled in the woods. Her neutral Christmas decor palette includes warm woods, whites and greens. Her home has such a cozy vibe. It makes you want to cuddle up in front of the fire with a cup of hot chocolate. Regina is a crafter, creator and upcycler extraordinaire, and some of her creations have made their way into her holiday decor. I love Regina’s front porch that has such a welcoming, homey vibe. Visit Regina to experience a cozy retreat.
